I was down around Capel Curig, and had an hour or two to spare, so went for a quickie up Cefn y Capel, the last summit in a ridge running eastwards from the Glyders down to Capel Curig.
The ridge would be a rather long but quite easy way of getting up onto the Glyders.
This is looking back down to Capel Curig.
Well up on the ridge now, and looking across to Pen yr Helgi Du and Pen Llithrig y Wrach.
It would make quite a good horseshoe route starting from the A5 - maybe one for the days when the higher tops are weather bound.
Looking up towards the un-named 763 metre summit before Y Foel Goch, which is in cloud.
